Engerl

I've chosen Betty Boop to explain my personality because my nickname was Betty Boop from early childhood. Now my friend Candy's dh calls me Betty Boop (or the Boopster), so I guess it has stuck. Betty Boop is backed by hot pink, my neutral color. I am a Texan from birth, and Texas is the Lone Star State, thus the star, and the star shines in the beautiful big night sky of Texas ("the stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas").

I think the squigglies in the Lone Star represent my kookiness and also all the many Engerl friends.

And, for those who know me, I appliqued this block because that is my first love in quilting.
