I chose a sewing machine because the sewing machine is an important thing to me. *S* I think I would be very sad if I lost my sewing machine. To be fast I chose a sewing machine from Sew Perfect, and Electric Quilt 5. But I chain pieced and strip pieced many of the pieces before sewing the block.

Three colors represent my Portuguese nature. The sharpness of the 'gold' needle , the 'red' thread of my fabric (makeup) and the 'green' of my background. These are the colors of the Portuguese flag.

The fabric I used on the sewing machine was chosen because it has designs of things I deal with all the time in sewing and quilting.

The sewing machine base is made in the colors of the United States of America which is my base, and for the wheel that keeps me moving and all of us connected I chose the '.com' fabric, representing the internet connection between us.
