Engerl

My block is DJ F-7, Star Struck, enlarged to 6 inches. I chose a star block, because my middle name is Starr. The purple batik and white-on-white butterfly fabrics are similar to those that I'm using for
my Quilted Diamonds. The dogwood in the center is the state flower of Virginia; for the past few years I have been using it on all my signature blocks. I digitized and embroidered the blossoms on my blocks, to show another of my current interests (learning to use my embroidery machine). Finally, the teal blue fabric is my favorite color, and it reminds me of the ocean -- my favorite place to vacation.
